Arrowhead Spring Vineyards 2009 Arrowhead Red Meritage

A flood of wild black cherry on the nose, with luxurious chocolate and tobacco notes, make this Niagara Escarpment blend a perfect match for roast pork and grilled vegetables. Though it will drink well now, particularly with a meal of roast pork and grilled vegetables, this wine’s muscular tannins and fine acidity suggest at serious aging potential. A blend of 61% Cabernet Franc , 29% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, and 2% Malbec, this wine has been aged for 20 months in French, Eastern European and American oak barrels. Estate grown fruit.
